Last weekend was my husband’s birthday and whilst I’m no good at baking a cake; I always deliver on the food! 💪🏽
I was so grateful to the The White Horse for the opportunity to give him his favourite experience... afternoon tea. This was slightly different as it was a cream tea tasting so no sandwiches or cakes involved but with 1 savoury & 2 sweet scones it was perfect as a birthday lunch.
The flavours were all incredible, so well thought out and the sticky toffee was seriously good. To add to the whole experience, they gave me a board with a birthday message and menu, along with a stand (on loan) so I could present the cream tea beautifully for him. This is all part of the cost 🙌
I also ordered from their dine in menu for dinner which was equally delicious. Their Lamb pie is quite something and I would recommend it for a special occasion as it delivers on flavour in every bite! I can honestly say that despite lockdown we had the most wonderful day celebrating his birthday and it was partly due to being able to have such delicious food at home so if you have a special occasion coming up then get organising! These guys have transformed their entire business since March with the introduction of @handjcompany to cater for takeaways and they are nailing it! 👏
