🍴NEW REVIEW🍴 Lunch The George Inn 🍕
I wrote a review a year ago about these guys and was impressed then with their food & setup. A year later and a whole lot of change due to the pandemic and I returned with my family to test out their new pizza based menu.
I was really impressed again with the setup and food but more importantly the time and creativity they have put into creating a safe and fun environment in this new normal we now face. The staff were friendly & well informed and looked after us well.
Here’s a snapshot:
🍴A one way system to enter and exit which is clearly laid out and simple to understand 🍴A toilet you can use via the garden which you don’t need to enter the pub for 🍴Goody bags for each child which contains kids menu, colouring and activities 🍴A large covered garden area which can be used even in rain, featuring lovely seating with different options depending if you’re eating or just coming for drinks 🍴Pizzas tasted great and some really interesting flavours, everything comes in takeaway boxes so you can doggy bag any leftovers! 🍴The sticky Cotswold chicken thighs were insanely good! Could eat them every day! A really great experience and lovely to eat out with my family again. Thank you for the time you’ve put into getting this right, we’ll be back!
