What fun I had devouring this amazing Chateaubriand @mpwoxford 🥩
Last Thursday I was invited to the launch of the @marcopierrewhite Steak club @mpwoxford in Oxford.
I do ❤️ a good steak so it was an easy decision for me but I’d never been to any Marco Pierre white restaurants before and as this one is located in @jurysinnhotels, I really didn’t know what to expect.
I began the evening hearing all about where and how they source their steak. I was impressed by how much thought goes into their sourcing process, they use one supplier for all restaurants to ensure consistency of quality and to keep prices reasonable 🙌
Afterwards I went for dinner in the main restaurant to test it out. I’d booked to take my Dad as a Father’s Day treat and we couldn’t resist sharing the Chateaubriand! It was truly delicious and cooked perfectly. I adored my scotch egg starter and the creamy mustard sauce that came with it was so good. They’ve got an @alexjameshq burger on the menu which went past my table and looked insane! (I might have a had a touch of food envy)
I found the service to be good and the place is stylish and relaxed. There’s lots of free parking just outside and it’s serving good quality food at reasonable prices.
I do feel it’s been kept a little bit too secret so I would recommend anyone who loves a steak to check it out! The Steak club is free to join and offers personalised meal discounts based around your favourite cut. I’ll be having a fillet next, what are you having?!🥩
