Last week I was invited to the relaunch of @askitalian in Oxford. It was a great evening with music from local band @malorieband and a lovely opportunity to meet fellow bloggers @lauraelane @theoxplorer and the lovely Liz from @bbcoxford .
I’ve visited this particular @askitalian many times over the years so it was great to see the transformation inside. The interior is looking fresh & vibrant; with a great vibe and full of artwork by @hixxy which was inspired by the similarities between Bologna and Oxford 🇮🇹
All wonderful but obviously I was really there for the food! I enjoyed our sharing platter ‘Antipasto classico’ and chose my all time favourite Italian for main, ‘Asparagus & pancetta Carbonara’. I often forget just how much I love an Italian feast!
