šŸ“NEW RECIPE on @bbcoxford this eveningšŸ“ā£ ⁣ Caldo Verde = literally means ā€œgreen brothā€ 🄦⁣ ⁣ I’ve always been partial to a warming bowl of homemade stew...particularly when I’m feeling under the weather which has been the case now for about 2 weeks! This dreaded cold/flu/cough just won’t go away so I thought a quick and easy bowl of ā€˜Caldo Verde’ might sort me out šŸ¤žšŸ»ā£ ⁣ Packed with immune boosting garlic & kale and containing only 6 ingredients. Ready in 30 minutes; its the laziest stew of all. If like me you’re fighting the lurgy, here’s how you can make it too ā¬‡ļøā£ ⁣


Ingredients⁣ Chorizo⁣ Onion thinly sliced ⁣ 4 Garlic cloves sliced ⁣ 2 litres chicken stock⁣ Charlotte potatoes ⁣ Kale⁣ ⁣ Cook the chorizo & onion on a medium heat for 10 minutes, the chorizo will release lots of oil & the onions will be soft.⁣ ⁣ Add the garlic for 2-3 mins, then add stock & potatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.⁣ ⁣ Add kale for the last 2 minutes.⁣ ⁣ Season well.
