š“NEW RECIPE on @bbcoxford this eveningš“⣠⣠Caldo Verde = literally means āgreen brothā š„¦ā£ ⣠Iāve always been partial to a warming bowl of homemade stew...particularly when Iām feeling under the weather which has been the case now for about 2 weeks! This dreaded cold/flu/cough just wonāt go away so I thought a quick and easy bowl of āCaldo Verdeā might sort me out š¤š»ā£ ā£ Packed with immune boosting garlic & kale and containing only 6 ingredients. Ready in 30 minutes; its the laziest stew of all. If like me youāre fighting the lurgy, hereās how you can make it too ā¬ļøā£ ā£

Ingredients⣠Chorizo⣠Onion thinly sliced ⣠4 Garlic cloves sliced ⣠2 litres chicken stock⣠Charlotte potatoes ⣠Kale⣠⣠Cook the chorizo & onion on a medium heat for 10 minutes, the chorizo will release lots of oil & the onions will be soft.⣠⣠Add the garlic for 2-3 mins, then add stock & potatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.⣠⣠Add kale for the last 2 minutes.⣠⣠Season well.
