Gnocchi bake. Good with a capital G and made me wonder why I don’t just put ricotta on everything?!🧀
Made such a nice change from a pasta bake and somehow felt rather more special. Gnocci has never been my friend but I think we might have started something with this super easy bake ❤️
Super simple but here’s how...
Ingredients
500g Gnocchi
Tomato pasta sauce
Leftovers if you have them
125g Ricotta
50g Grated parmesan
Fresh basil (optional)
Boil gnocchi for 3-4 mins; little tip, you’ll know when it’s cooked because the gnocchi will float to the top!
Drain and add a tomato pasta sauce and heat for a few mins.
Grab a deep baking tray. Put any cooked leftovers in the bottom of the tray.
Top with gnocchi and sauce so it covers the leftovers.
Spoon dollops of ricotta over the top and cover with grated Parmesan.
Oven bake for 15-20 mins at 180 degrees.
Top with black pepper, fresh basil and olive oil.
This was a big hit with the family so make enough for seconds/leftovers!
Hope you’re all ok and staying safe. Food is definitely my saviour through all this, hope you’ve found yours ✨
With love & food ❤️🍴
